Sorry if I missed it, but where is it kept? I am going to Iceland in early July and intend to visit the Edda Building at the University to see such items!
omg! I mean, by Odin and Frigg! I would be very excited to meet you, perhaps even at the Institute? I will be there June 30 - July 4; I might extend to July 8.
Oh I don’t need your pic, just an idea to make the content more interesting to send to my pen name’s subscribers.
Anyway, it would be amazing to meet you even for one minute.
I’ll separately send you some of the fiction I’ve written, including the glossary and note on historic resources and pronunciation guide. (I use just a few old Norse and old English historical words and created a few compound words made out of vocabulary using old English and Norse).
There’s a seiðr in book 1, for example.
Thank you for sharing academically and archaeologically rigorous info!
Love this! I’m Harrison, an ex fine dining line cook. My stack "The Secret Ingredient" adapts hit restaurant recipes (mostly NYC and L.A.) for easy home cooking.
This is incredible! I went to Iceland in March and I'm gutted I didn't see this before. Ever since, I've been down a rabbit hole of sagas and history, so this is exciting reading. Thank you, such an interesting read and it is definitely a treasure!
There is one in progress for the whole manuscript, but the sagas of the kings can also be found in Heimskringla, which is also online (Viking Society for Northern Research).

Hi John! I'm flying on the 5th! Thank you so much for the pledge, you're the first one for this publication so I'm over the moon! Bless you!
On the 5th will you be at the Edda building? Or on the sixth? I could take your pic and send to my email list and ask you a few questions.
Hi John! I’ll try on the 6th but I have to check the opening hours first ;) Why do you need my pic? :)))
